Job summary

Premier Inn is looking for a Duty Manager to help lead the hotel during shifts, working across reception, housekeeping and restaurant to ensure guests have a great stay. You’ll supervise, coach and support teams, resolve guest queries, and keep operations running smoothly during busy periods.

You’ll join a welcoming, high-volume hotel environment with guaranteed hours and a clear path to future hotel management roles. No two days are the same, and leadership from the front is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams in a fast-paced, guest-facing environment.
• Strong communication and coaching abilities.
• Proven ability to stay calm and make quick, effective decisions.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts across reception, housekeeping and restaurant to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Deliver clear pre-shift briefings and coach team members throughout the day.
• Help guests with questions and resolve issues quickly and tactfully.
• Spot issues early and take ownership to keep the hotel running smoothly.
• Work closely with the Hotel Manager and leadership team to maintain standards.
