Job summary

Premier Inn is seeking a Duty Manager to lead our hotel during shifts, coordinating reception, housekeeping and the restaurant to ensure guests have a great stay. You’ll be on the floor, helping wherever you’re needed and mentoring the team to deliver excellent service.

This permanent role offers 40 guaranteed hours per week, a clear path to a Hotel Manager role, and comprehensive training. Pay is up to £13.86 per hour with strong progression and benefits at Premier Inn.

Qualifications

• No hotel experience required.
• Experience leading people in busy customer-facing environments is helpful.
• Ability to stay calm under pressure and make decisions on the floor.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts across the hotel and deliver clear pre-shift briefings.
• Support and coach team members throughout the day.
• Help guests with questions and sort out problems.
• Jump in to support different teams, from reception to the restaurant.
• Spot issues early and put them right.
• Help keep guests safe and the hotel running the way it should.
• Work closely with the Hotel Manager and wider leadership team.
• This isn’t a role where you stand back and supervise. You’ll be out on the floor, helping your team wherever you’re needed.
