Job summary

Redemption Roasters in Covent Garden is recruiting Supervisors/Senior Baristas to lead shifts and uphold the café’s hospitality, quality, and efficiency standards. You’ll step in for managers on busy days and guide the team to deliver a welcoming guest experience.

You will support staff, coach teammates, and help with opening and closing duties while modelling the company values and mission. This is a frontline leadership role in a socially driven business.

Qualifications

• Confident shift leader with ability to stay calm under pressure.
• Focus on guest experience and hospitality standards.
• Willing to work across coffee bar, kitchen pass, and closing duties.
• Able to give constructive feedback and address concerns.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team on shift in the absence of the Manager or Assistant Manager.
• Set the tone for warm, focused hospitality so guests feel welcomed.
• Assign roles, manage pace, and coach team to stay on track.
• Ensure food, drink, cleanliness, and compliance standards are upheld.
• Open and close the café with preparation, organisation, and end-of-day tasks.
• Provide on-the-job support for newer team members and reinforce good habits.
• Model Redemption Roasters’ values through communication and work ethic.
