Job summary

Caffè Nero is seeking a Shift Leader to help run daily store operations, lead the team on shift, and deliver exceptional coffee and service with a personalised touch.

No coffee experience is required—comprehensive training is provided, and there are clear opportunities to grow your career within the brand. The starter rate for shifts in this location is £12.76 per hour, with potential increases as service levels improve.

Qualifications

• Experience as Supervisor or Team Leader preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Willingness to learn and grow with the team.
• No prior coffee experience required; full training provided.

• Are charge of the shift, leading their team by example.
• Make fantastic coffee… and matcha… and seasonal drinks… every order is special!
  From bean to cup, they make each customer their coffee, exactly how they like it!
• Provide great service, both in store and through deliveries. With our signature 1-2-1 service style, they ensure customers leave with a personalised experience.
• Keep the customer and back-of-house areas safe, clean, organised and ready for service. Some examples would be cleaning tables or ensuring toilets are kept to the high standards our customers expect.
• Take pride in what they do and always strive for excellence!

To become a Shift Leader, ideally you will have some experience as a Supervisor or Team Leader – but if you haven’t got that don’t worry, we’d still love to hear from you.

The starter rate for Shift Leaders in this location is £12.76 per hour, increasing to £12.91 with service.
