Job summary

Caffè Nero in Rugby is seeking a Shift Leader to support store operations and coach the team to deliver exceptional service. You’ll lead by example, manage shifts, and ensure every order is crafted with care.

No coffee experience is required at training, with opportunities for personal and professional growth, and extensive staff discounts on drinks and food.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Supervisor or Team Leader preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the shift and coach the team to deliver fantastic service.
• Make high-quality coffee, drinks, and ensure accuracy for every order.
• Provide excellent customer service in-store and via deliveries where applicable.
• Keep front-of-house and back-of-house areas clean, safe, and well-organised for service.
• Pride in doing things well and continuous improvement.

• Are charge of the shift, leading their team by example.
• Make fantastic coffee… and matcha… and seasonal drinks… every order is special!
  From bean to cup, they make each customer their coffee, exactly how they like it!
• Provide great service, both in store and through deliveries. With our signature 1-2-1 service style, they ensure customers leave with a personalised experience.
• Keep the customer and back-of-house areas safe, clean, organised and ready for service. Some examples would be cleaning tables or ensuring toilets are kept to the high standards our customers expect.
• Take pride in what they do and always strive for excellence!

To become a Shift Leader, ideally you will have some experience as a Supervisor or Team Leader – but if you haven’t got that don’t worry, we’d still love to hear from you.

The starter rate for Shift Leaders in this location is £12.76 per hour, increasing to £12.91 with service.
