Job summary

Caffè Nero is hiring Shift Leaders in Greater London. You will lead the shift, coach a team and deliver outstanding customer service while ensuring quality drinks and a welcoming store environment.

No prior coffee experience is required, with brilliant training and opportunities to grow your career within the brand. Enjoy generous staff discounts and chance to participate in bonus schemes.

Qualifications

• Experience as Supervisor or Team Leader preferred.
• No coffee experience required.
• Customer service oriented and able to lead a team.
• Ability to keep store safe, clean and well presented.

Our aim is simple: through great coffee and brilliant service, we want to make a positive difference in people’s lives. Shift Leaders are key in supporting the smooth running of store operations, providing great service and supporting their team to do the same. They:

• Are charge of the shift, leading their team by example.
• Make fantastic coffee… and matcha… and seasonal drinks… every order is special!
  From bean to cup, they make each customer their coffee, exactly how they like it!
• Provide great service, both in store and through deliveries. With our signature 1-2-1 service style, they ensure customers leave with a personalised experience.
• Keep the customer and back-of-house areas safe, clean, organised and ready for service. Some examples would be cleaning tables or ensuring toilets are kept to the high standards our customers expect.
• Take pride in what they do and always strive for excellence!

To become a Shift Leader, ideally you will have some experience as a Supervisor or Team Leader – but if you haven’t got that don’t worry, we’d still love to hear from you.

The starter rate for Shift Leaders in this location is £12.76 per hour, increasing to £12.91 with service.
