Job summary

Caffè Nero in Poole is seeking a Shift Leader to drive smooth store operations and deliver brilliant service. You will lead a small team, support baristas, and ensure every guest leaves with a personalised experience.

Training is provided, and no prior coffee experience is required. As a Shift Leader, you’ll supervise the shift, uphold high standards of cleanliness and safety, and help the store run efficiently.

Qualifications

• Experience as Supervisor or Team Leader preferred.
• No coffee experience required; full training provided.

• Are charge of the shift, leading their team by example.
• Make fantastic coffee… and matcha… and seasonal drinks… every order is special!
  From bean to cup, they make each customer their coffee, exactly how they like it!
• Provide great service, both in store and through deliveries. With our signature 1-2-1 service style, they ensure customers leave with a personalised experience.
• Keep the customer and back-of-house areas safe, clean, organised and ready for service. Some examples would be cleaning tables or ensuring toilets are kept to the high standards our customers expect.
• Take pride in what they do and always strive for excellence!

To become a Shift Leader, ideally you will have some experience as a Supervisor or Team Leader – but if you haven’t got that don’t worry, we’d still love to hear from you.

The starter rate for Shift Leaders in this location is £12.76 per hour, increasing to £12.91 with service.
