Job summary

Caffè Nero in London is seeking a motivated Shift Leader to help run busy store operations and coach a front-line team. You’ll lead by example, deliver fantastic service, and ensure safety and cleanliness throughout the shift.

No heavy coffee experience required—training is provided and you’ll grow professionally while creating a personal, friendly customer experience. You’ll enjoy benefits like free drinks on shift, generous staff discounts, and opportunities to advance through the business.

Our aim is simple: through great coffee and brilliant service, we want to make a positive difference in people’s lives. Shift Leaders are key in supporting the smooth running of store operations, providing great service and supporting their team to do the same. They:

• Are charge of the shift, leading their team by example.
• Make fantastic coffee… and matcha… and seasonal drinks… every order is special!
  From bean to cup, they make each customer their coffee, exactly how they like it!
• Provide great service, both in store and through deliveries. With our signature 1-2-1 service style, they ensure customers leave with a personalised experience.
• Keep the customer and back-of-house areas safe, clean, organised and ready for service. Some examples would be cleaning tables or ensuring toilets are kept to the high standards our customers expect.
• Take pride in what they do and always strive for excellence!

To become a Shift Leader, ideally you will have some experience as a Supervisor or Team Leader – but if you haven’t got that don’t worry, we’d still love to hear from you.

The starter rate for Shift Leaders in this location is £12.76 per hour, increasing to £12.91 with service.
