Job summary

Specsavers in Kidderminster is seeking a Shift Leader to oversee our distribution operations. You will lead a high-performing team, ensure safe and efficient daily warehousing activities and drive service and cost targets.

You’ll coach, mentor and develop colleagues, influence stakeholders, and foster an inclusive environment where teams feel valued and empowered to succeed.

You'll lead and support colleagues across a busy warehousing environment, creating a culture where safety, wellbeing and performance go hand in hand. Working closely with teams across operations, supply chain and logistics, you'll drive productivity, improve processes and help deliver ambitious service and cost targets. From identifying opportunities for continuous improvement to ensuring effective day-to-day operations, you'll be trusted to keep standards high while helping your team perform at their very best.

To succeed in this role, you'll bring proven people leadership experience, along with strong coaching and mentoring skills that help others grow and develop. You're someone who builds positive relationships, communicates with confidence and can influence stakeholders at all levels. You'll be commercially aware, comfortable managing budgets and motivated by finding smarter ways of working.
