Job summary

At Caffè Nero in Hounslow, we are looking for a Shift Leader to drive the store’s daily operations and service excellence. You’ll lead a small team, ensure fantastic coffee and drinks are prepared to standard, and provide a personalised customer experience with our signature service style.

We offer extensive training (no coffee experience required), great progression opportunities, and generous staff discounts. Starter rate is £12.76 per hour, rising to £12.91 with service.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Supervisor or Team Leader is ideal, but not required.
• Willing to learn and develop professionally with training provided.
• Excellent customer service and ability to lead a small team on shift.

Responsibilities

• Be in charge of the shift and lead the team by example.
• Prepare and serve coffee and drinks to a high standard.
• Deliver great service in-store and during deliveries with a personalised approach.
• Keep front-of-house and back-of-house areas safe, clean and well organised.

• Are charge of the shift, leading their team by example.
• Make fantastic coffee… and matcha… and seasonal drinks… every order is special!
  From bean to cup, they make each customer their coffee, exactly how they like it!
• Provide great service, both in store and through deliveries. With our signature 1-2-1 service style, they ensure customers leave with a personalised experience.
• Keep the customer and back-of-house areas safe, clean, organised and ready for service. Some examples would be cleaning tables or ensuring toilets are kept to the high standards our customers expect.
• Take pride in what they do and always strive for excellence!

To become a Shift Leader, ideally you will have some experience as a Supervisor or Team Leader – but if you haven’t got that don’t worry, we’d still love to hear from you.
