Job summary

Caffè Nero in Newcastle upon Tyne is seeking a Shift Leader to drive store operations, lead a small team and deliver the high standards of service our customers expect.

You will train quickly, grow professionally and enjoy benefits such as free drinks and generous staff discounts. If you have a proactive attitude and enjoy interacting with customers, we’d love to hear from you.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Supervisor or Team Leader is advantageous.

• Are charge of the shift, leading their team by example.
• Make fantastic coffee… and matcha… and seasonal drinks… every order is special!
  From bean to cup, they make each customer their coffee, exactly how they like it!
• Provide great service, both in store and through deliveries. With our signature 1-2-1 service style, they ensure customers leave with a personalised experience.
• Keep the customer and back-of-house areas safe, clean, organised and ready for service. Some examples would be cleaning tables or ensuring toilets are kept to the high standards our customers expect.
• Take pride in what they do and always strive for excellence!

To become a Shift Leader, ideally you will have some experience as a Supervisor or Team Leader – but if you haven’t got that don’t worry, we’d still love to hear from you.

The starter rate for Shift Leaders in this location is £12.76 per hour, increasing to £12.91 with service.
