Job summary

Caffè Nero is seeking a Shift Leader to help run store operations and deliver outstanding service. You will lead a team, set the standard for coffee quality, and ensure personalised customer experiences across in-store and delivery channels.

Qualifications

• To become a Shift Leader, ideally you will have some experience as a Supervisor or Team Leader – but if you haven’t got that don’t worry, we’d still love to hear from you.
• Brilliant training – no coffee experience is required!

Our aim is simple: through great coffee and brilliant service, we want to make a positive difference in people’s lives. Shift Leaders are key in supporting the smooth running of store operations, providing great service and supporting their team to do the same. They:

• Are charge of the shift, leading their team by example.
• Make fantastic coffee… and matcha… and seasonal drinks… every order is special!
  From bean to cup, they make each customer their coffee, exactly how they like it!
• Provide great service, both in store and through deliveries. With our signature 1-2-1 service style, they ensure customers leave with a personalised experience.
• Keep the customer and back-of-house areas safe, clean, organised and ready for service. Some examples would be cleaning tables or ensuring toilets are kept to the high standards our customers expect.
• Take pride in what they do and always strive for excellence!

The starter rate for Shift Leaders in this location is £12.76 per hour, increasing to £12.91 with service.
