Job summary

Caffè Nero is hiring Shift Leaders to help run store operations, coach their team, and deliver great service. You’ll lead by example on shift, craft drinks including seasonal options, and ensure a warm, personalised experience for every customer.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead the shift and supervise the team during service.
• Prepare high-quality coffee, matcha and seasonal drinks.
• Provide personalised customer service and ensure safe, clean store areas.
• Maintain cleanliness of tables and toilets to high standards.

• Are charge of the shift, leading their team by example.
• Make fantastic coffee… and matcha… and seasonal drinks… every order is special!
  From bean to cup, they make each customer their coffee, exactly how they like it!
• Provide great service, both in store and through deliveries. With our signature 1-2-1 service style, they ensure customers leave with a personalised experience.
• Keep the customer and back-of-house areas safe, clean, organised and ready for service. Some examples would be cleaning tables or ensuring toilets are kept to the high standards our customers expect.
• Take pride in what they do and always strive for excellence!

To become a Shift Leader, ideally you will have some experience as a Supervisor or Team Leader – but if you haven’t got that don’t worry, we’d still love to hear from you.

The starter rate for Shift Leaders in this location is £12.76 per hour, increasing to £12.91 with service.
