Job summary

JLL in London is seeking a Technical Facilities Engineer to execute day-to-day technical requirements of the client contract, ensuring SOPs, KPIs and SLAs are met while providing a resilient engineering service and a superior workplace experience.

The role covers building automation, HVAC, energy management and smart building technologies, with CMMS documentation and collaboration with the broader team. On-site shifts may include nights; comprehensive benefits apply.

Qualifications

City & Guilds Level 3 NQV in electrical/mechanical discipline required.
Experience in Critical Engineering Facilities preferred.
Strong PC literacy and ability to manage daily activities using BMS and monitoring systems.
Experience with building automation systems and smart building technologies.
Basic programming/configuration skills for smart building systems.
Leadership capabilities and team coordination.
Proficiency with CMMS for maintenance documentation.

Responsibilities

Execute day-to-day technical requirements in the work space while complying with SOPs, KPIs and SLAs.
Collaborate with the wider work space team to deliver resilient engineering services.
Operate building systems and BAS, including HVAC, lighting, security and energy management.
Respond to system alerts, diagnose issues, and escalate as needed.
Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on smart building equipment.
Troubleshoot IoT devices, sensors, controllers, and network connectivity.
Document maintenance actions and system adjustments in CMMS.
Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized maintenance.
