Job summary

JLL in London is seeking a Shift Technician (Electrical or Mechanical) to deliver day-to-day maintenance of building MEP services within a high-tech facility in Bishopsgate. You will work as a multi-skilled technician, ensuring operations align with the Client GRP and local regulations.

You will record activities in the CMMS, support commissioning, drive safety with risk assessments, and collaborate with teams using Slack and other collaboration tools.

Qualifications

• Trade qualifications in Electrical or Mechanical Maintenance.
• Level 3 NVQ Electrical Installation (City & Guilds 2357).
• Inspection and Testing Certification (City & Guilds 2391/2394/2395).
• Level 3 NVQ Plumbing and Domestic Heating.
• Level 3 NVQ Refrigeration, Air Conditioning and Heat Pump Systems (+ F-Gas).

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain building MEP services per GRP.
• Record all planned and reactive maintenance in the CMMS.
• Test, commission and handover new building services.
• Perform risk assessments and ensure permits to work compliance.
• Monitor and optimize Building Management Systems and IoT controls.
• Install, maintain and repair electrical and mechanical plant.
