Job summary

JLL is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to operate and troubleshoot building systems in a London site. The role manages PPM and reactive tasks, ensures safety compliance, and supports daily operations with timely reporting and materials handling.

Ideal candidates have a C&G Mechanical Qualification and at least 3 years of mechanical experience, plus strong admin skills and a proactive service mindset. The position is on-site in London and requires attention to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• C&G Mechanical Qualification and at least 3 years' mechanical experience.
• Knowledge of current Health and Safety legislation relevant to safe working practices.
• Strong administration and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate building systems and troubleshoot as required.
• Complete PPM and reactive tasks and update the system.
• Ensure daily tours are completed and report defects via landlord helpdesk.
• Identify materials to be ordered and complete internal Materials Request Form.
• Comply with statutory and company health, safety and environmental regulations and policies.
• Record statutory inspections including fire, access equipment and water hygiene records.
• Ensure Specialist Service Provider worksheets are signed off and escalate recommendations to the Technical Manager.
• Maintain high housekeeping standards in Plant areas, workshops, stores and changing/rest areas.
