Job summary

Marks & Spencer in Abingdon is recruiting for a frontline team member to support the fill operations and maintain a ready-to-trade salesfloor from early mornings. You will coordinate resources, lead the floor in the absence of management, and deliver great customer service while upholding M&S behaviours.

This role includes being a key holder and handling opening/closing tasks with care. This is a real hands-on role with opportunities to grow within a busy store environment.

Qualifications

• This job role involves working early mornings and requires applicants to be 18 or older.
• This is a frontline retail role with operational responsibilities across the store.

Responsibilities

• Lead the fill operation, delivering a salesfloor ready to trade and coordinating resources to Serve, Sell and Fill.
• Coordinate resources to deliver operational tasks during the fill operation and in the absence of the Colleague Manager.
• Lead the fill operation, coaching colleagues on One Best Way and driving productivity for store opening.
• Allocate resources effectively to deliver a quick payment experience.
• Enable daily operational processes to be implemented efficiently across the area of the store.
• Coordinate the team to deliver a clean, safe and well-presented store.
• Role model great Customer Service and the M&S behaviours and Colleague Expectations.
• Support Colleague Managers by sharing observations to deliver high performance and recognise great colleagues.
• Support nearby stores if operationally required.
• Responsible for being a key holder and answering call outs as required.
• Responsible for opening/closing tasks, including receipt of vehicles, temperature controls, logging issues with Helpdesks, cash handling and TSL compliance in peripheral hours.
