Job summary

Mollie's Manchester is seeking a Duty Manager to lead the floor during shifts, ensuring the diner and bar run smoothly and guests have a memorable visit. You will head the food and beverage operation across all trading periods, from breakfast to late service, and oversee the shift from briefing to service continuity.

You'll deliver Mollie's brand standards, handle guest feedback, support team training, manage stock and collaborate with reception, housekeeping and kitchen to keep

Qualifications

• Experience as a duty manager, supervisor or assistant manager in a busy food and beverage or hospitality setting.
• A natural leader who stays calm under pressure.
• Confident handling guest issues and turning them into positive experiences.
• Organised, with an eye for detail and standards.
• Comfortable with stock control and basic commercial figures.
• Confident using technology.

Responsibilities

• Lead the food and beverage operation across all trading periods, from breakfast to late service.
• Run the shift: brief and coordinate the team, managing breaks and keeping service on track.
• Deliver Mollie's brand standards every shift.
• Handle guest feedback and complaints, turning things around when they go wrong.
• Support training and development of the team.
• Manage stock control, including orders, deliveries and stock counts.
• Work closely with reception, housekeeping and kitchen teams so the whole site runs as one.
