Job summary

Mollie''s Manchester is seeking a Duty Manager to lead the floor on shift and ensure the diner and bar run smoothly.

You will oversee service from breakfast to late, brief and coordinate staff, maintain brand standards, handle guest feedback, and work with reception, housekeeping and kitchen to keep the site on one page.

Qualifications

• Experience as a duty manager or supervisor in a busy food and beverage or hospitality setting.
• A natural leader who stays calm under pressure.
• Confident handling guest issues and turning them into positive experiences.
• Organised with an eye for detail and standards.
• Comfortable with stock control and basic commercial figures.
• Confident using technology.

Responsibilities

• Lead the food and beverage operation across all trading periods, from breakfast to late service.
• Run the shift: briefing and coordinating the team, managing breaks and keeping service on track.
• Make sure Mollie’s brand standards are delivered every shift.
• Handle guest feedback and complaints, turning issues around.
• Support the training and development of the team.
• Manage stock control, including orders, deliveries and stock counts.
• Work closely with reception, housekeeping and kitchen teams so the site runs as one.

£30,500 + tronc | Full-time, 42.5 hours per week | Manchester

Ready to run the floor at one of the UK's most talked-about hotel brands? Lead our food and beverage operation on shift at Mollie's Manchester, our award-winning motel-diner, and grow with us as we open ten more sites.

THE ROLE
You'll be the onsite lead during your shifts, keeping our diner and bar running smoothly and making sure every guest has a memorable visit. You'll be:

• leading the food and beverage operation across all trading periods, from breakfast to late service
• running the shift: briefing and coordinating the team, managing breaks and keeping service on track
• making sure Mollie's brand standards are delivered every shift
• handling guest feedback and complaints, and turning things around when they go wrong
• supporting the training and development of the team
• managing stock control, including orders, deliveries and stock counts
• working closely with reception, housekeeping and kitchen teams so the whole site runs as one

ABOUT YOU

SHIFTS
Varying shifts between 6am and 12am, including weekends. 42.5 hours a week.
