Hamilton Rowe Recruitment Services Ltd in Westminster is seeking a Shift Lead to join a large, renowned building services provider on a blue-chip site in Westminster. You will lead a team of M&E engineers, carry out PPM and reactive maintenance on M&E systems, allocate works, oversee logbooks and report into the Engineering Manager.

The role requires City & Guilds / NVQ in Electrical Installations / Engineering, plus building services maintenance experience.

Shift Lead

Westminster

£51,000 - £55,000

New role for a Shift Lead to join a large, well renowned building service provider on a blue chip building in Westminster! This is a great role if you're looking to progress further in your career.

As a Shift Lead, you'll lead a team of M&E Engineers, carry out PPM and reactive maintenance on M&E systems, allocate works, oversee logbooks and report into the Engineering Manager.

Shift Lead Duties:

• PPMs & Reactive maintenance
• Single and Three Phase Power, Motors, Generators (on/off load tests), UPS, LV/HV switching, Shutdowns, Switchgear, Motors, Emergency Lighting, Fire Alarm Test, AHUs, FCUs, VAVs, CRAC units, Sprinkler Systems, Pumps, Belts, Bearings, Seals, BMS Operation
• Carry out isolation of plant and systems in accordance with safety requirements.
• Ensure corrective/repair works are carried out in accordance with regulations.
• Endorse safe working practices, quality standards conformity and best practice methods.
• Organising subcontractors
• Completing logbooks and RAMS
• Reports
• Conducting client meetings
• Ensuring the account manager is kept up to date on a regular basis
• Liaising with client representatives in respect of corrective repair works.
• Permits to work
• Raise and close jobs on PDA's as necessary.

Shift Lead Requirements:

• City & Guilds / NVQ (or equivalent) qualification in Electrical Installations / Engineering
• Building Services Maintenance experience
• Career driven and motivated
• Polite and personable

Salary and Package:

• £51,000 - £55,000 per annum
