Hamilton Rowe Recruitment Services Ltd is listing a Day Shift Leader position at a prestigious commercial site in London Bridge. You will lead planned and reactive maintenance across electrical and mechanical systems, ensuring safety, compliance, and high service standards.

The role requires an electrically biased background with building services experience, strong fault-finding, and previous supervisory responsibility. The company offers HV training and clear progression opportunities.

Competenze

• City & Guilds Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Installations.
• Electrically biased with strong commercial building maintenance experience.
• Previous experience in a lead or supervisory role preferred.

Mansioni

• Carry out planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across electrical and mechanical systems.
• Perform electrical fault-finding and diagnostics.
• Work on single and three-phase power systems.
• Carry out emergency lighting tests and maintenance.
• Monitor and operate BMS systems.
• Maintain AHUs, FCUs, pumps, and motors.
• Oversee generators, UPS systems, and critical plant equipment.
• Assist with VAV and VRF systems.
• Ensure water treatment checks and compliance tasks are completed.
• Supervise subcontractors and ensure all works are carried out safely and to standard.
• Maintain accurate site logbooks and reports.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with the client and occupants.
• Support and oversee on-site engineers to ensure smooth building operation.

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Day Shift Leader to join one of the UK’s leading building services providers at a prestigious commercial site based in London Bridge. Renowned for delivering high-quality facilities maintenance solutions, this company offers ongoing training, including HV training, alongside genuine opportunities for long-term career progression.

Working a continental day shift pattern, you will be responsible for ensuring all planned and reactive maintenance is completed efficiently, maintaining compliance across the site, and driving high standards of service delivery.

Day Shift Leader Key Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across electrical and mechanical systems

Day Shift Leader Requirements

• City & Guilds Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Installations
• Electrically biased with strong commercial building maintenance experience
• Previous experience in a lead or supervisory role preferred
• Strong understanding of critical building services plant
• Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving abilities
• Good client-facing and communication skills
• Apprenticeship trained (desirable)

Day Shift Leader Salary & Benefits

• £55,000 – £58,000 per annum
