Sierra 57 Consult is seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer on a contract basis for an established injection moulding manufacturer. The role focuses on providing breakdown cover, performing preventative maintenance and repairing injection moulding machinery and automation systems.

Applicants should have a strong background in electrical and mechanical maintenance, with proven fault-finding skills and experience with plastics/moulding equipment and robots.

Competenze

• Time-served maintenance engineer with multi-skilled electrical and mechanical background.
• Proven experience maintaining, fault finding and repairing injection moulding machines.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills across electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

Mansioni

• Provide shift breakdown cover on injection moulding machines and automation equipment.
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance and repairs on machinery.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical faults to minimise downtime.
• Maintain hydraulic and pneumatic systems across manufacturing equipment.
• Identify and implement improvements to machine performance and reliability.
• Assist with installation, modification and improvement of machinery as required.
