Job summary

Sierra 57 Consult Ltd. is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, commission and service injection moulding machines and automation across UK customer sites. You will deliver on-site technical support, diagnose faults, and maintain service records, travelling as required and ensuring high customer satisfaction.

The role requires hands-on experience with injection moulding equipment, electrical and hydraulic fault-finding, and a willingness to travel nationwide with occasional weekend work.

Qualifications

• Extensive injection moulding machinery experience is essential.
• Electrical, hydraulic and mechanical fault-finding skills.
• Experience with installation and commissioning of injection moulding machines.
• Knowledge of related automation equipment is advantageous.
• Eligible to work in the UK and willing to travel across the UK.

Responsibilities

• Install and commission RPM, injection moulding machines and automation at customer sites.
• Provide on-site technical support and troubleshooting for injection moulding machinery.
• Maintain accurate service records and equipment history in internal systems.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults and repair them.
• Build strong customer relationships and ensure timely resolution of issues while travelling across the UK.
