Stagecoach Peterborough is seeking a Shift Fitter to join our Engineering Team. The role focuses on maintaining and repairing our bus fleet to ensure roadworthiness and reliability for customers. It operates on a shift pattern, with training provided for PCV where needed.

NVQ Level 3 in Engineering is essential, and candidates with PCV experience are preferred. A positive, proactive approach within a supportive depot environment is expected.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Engineering is essential.
• Experience: Engineering: 1 year (required).
• PCV licence is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Stagecoach vehicles to keep them roadworthy.
• Work as part of the maintenance team on a shift pattern (5 days out of 7).

Salary£20.11 per hour, 25% overtime enhancement Monday to Friday and 50% weekendsAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a Shift Fitter to join our Engineering Team at our PeterboroughAt Stagecoach East we operate over 290 vehicles, which connect our passengers across the east of England with our engineering teams playing a fundamental role in ensuring our vehicles are maintained to the highest standards.
