Job summary

Stagecoach Cambridge is recruiting a Shunter/Cleaner for the late shift (17:30–02:30). You’ll prepare vehicles, wash interiors and exteriors, and safely park units within the depot.

A full UK driving licence is essential; a PCV or HGV licence is a bonus. Training provided, with the chance to gain a PCV licence.

We offer £14.05 per hour with enhanced overtime, 30 days’ holiday incl. bank holidays, free travel on Stagecoach buses for you and a companion, uniform and PPE.

Qualifications

• A full UK driving licence is essential.
• A PCV or HGV licence would be a bonus.
• Flexibility to meet late/night shift rota.
• A strong work ethic and team-focused attitude.

Responsibilities

• Prepare vehicles for the next day’s service.
• Wash and clean interior and exterior of fleet to high standards.
• Shunt and safely park vehicles within depot confines.
• Check fluid levels and carry out basic daily checks.
• General premises cleaning and maintaining a tidy working environment.
