Warburtons in Wednesbury is seeking an experienced Multi Skilled Engineer with strong leadership to head the shift engineering team at our bakery. You’ll balance hands-on maintenance with leadership, delivering planned and reactive maintenance while guiding a small team in a fast-paced FMCG setting.

The role emphasises electrical and mechanical expertise, an electrical bias preferred, and the ability to coach others to improve plant reliability and safety across Production and Engineering.

Qualifikationen

• Recognised engineering training or qualifications, such as an apprenticeship, HNC or degree.
• Electrical and mechanical maintenance experience with an electrical bias preferred.
• Experience in FMCG or fast-paced manufacturing environments.

Aufgaben

• Lead, coach and develop the shift engineering team.
• Deliver planned, preventative and reactive maintenance to a high standard.
• Diagnose faults and resolve breakdowns quickly and effectively.
• Take the lead on more complex engineering and maintenance issues.
• Drive plant reliability and reduce downtime.
• Lead short interval control meetings with Production.
• Ensure equipment safety and adherence to health and food safety standards.
• Use SAP PM to support maintenance planning and performance.
