Job summary

2 Sisters Food Group in the UK is seeking an Engineering Manager to own engineering performance across the shift, leading and developing a team of skilled engineers in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You will manage handovers, participate in daily OPS meetings, oversee breakdown response, and drive preventative maintenance and CI to improve reliability. The role blends strong people leadership (about 90%) with hands-on technical support as needed.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a food manufacturing or FMCG environment.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Solid understanding of maintenance systems, reliability and engineering processes.
• Proactive problem solver in a fast-paced production setting.
• Excellent communicator across departments.

Responsibilities

• Manage shift handovers with clear priorities and actions.
• Attend and contribute to daily operational meetings.
• Oversee breakdown response and prioritise engineering resources to minimise downtime.
• Drive preventative maintenance and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Lead and motivate the team, balancing people management with hands-on support when required.
