Job summary

Pilgrim's Europe seeks an Engineering Team Leader to supervise a team of engineers on shift at Westerleigh in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.

You will drive performance, minimise downtime, and uphold safety, quality and engineering delivery standards while ensuring audit-ready areas and smooth start-ups. This hands-on role requires strong electrical/mechanical know-how and the ability to adapt to 4-on/4-off rotating shifts.

Qualifications

• Recognised qualification in Electrical and/or Mechanical Engineering.
• Strong multi-skilled engineering knowledge (electrical & mechanical).
• Experience leading or supporting a team in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team of engineers on shift
• Provide technical support to resolve and prevent breakdowns
• Ensure all PPMs, work orders and breakdowns are completed and closed out
• Work closely with production during start-up and daily operations
• Maintain high standards of health & safety, hygiene and food safety
• Ensure accurate system updates (Holistech) for all work completed
• Deliver shift reports and effective handovers
• Drive continuous improvement and reduce downtime and costs
• Maintain audit-ready engineering areas and strong housekeeping standards
