Job summary

Miiro Hotels is seeking a Shift Engineer to oversee maintenance across our hotels in Greater London. You will handle plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry tasks, ensuring minimal disruption to guests and staff while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a maintenance role within a hotel or similar environment.
• Strong knowledge of building systems (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry).
• Understanding of health and safety regulations and best practices.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Relevant technical certifications or qualifications are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage maintenance activities across hotel facilities, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC and carpentry.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and hotel standards.
• Conduct regular inspections and address maintenance needs proactively.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance work, inspections and service requests.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and staff with minimal disruption.
