Reporting to the Engineering Supervisor, you'll perform fault diagnosis, preventive maintenance, and hands-on support with safety practices such as LOTO, while contributing to continuous improvement and equipment upgrades.

Qualifications

• NVQ3/City & Guilds Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in mechanical maintenance in manufacturing/industrial settings.
• PPM experience and safe working practices (LOTO).

Responsibilities

• Fault diagnosis and repairs on mechanical systems, pumps, gearboxes, conveyors and drives.
• Execute planned preventive maintenance to reduce breakdowns.
• Respond to and root-cause equipment failures.
• Ensure mechanical work meets legal, regulatory and site safety standards (LOTO).
• Keep drawings, documentation and equipment records up to date.
• Provide hands-on technical support to production teams during shifts.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, equipment upgrades and new machinery installations.
