Ambitions Personnel is recruiting a Shift Engineer for a site in Leicestershire. The role is multi-skilled or electrically biased, in a modern manufacturing environment with ongoing investment.

You will provide reactive and planned maintenance, drive reliability, and support new equipment projects while collaborating with production teams to minimise downtime and maintain clear records.

Qualifications

• Apprentice-trained multi-skilled engineer, electrical engineer or electrician with hands-on experience.

Responsibilities

• Respond to breakdowns and fault-find to repair efficiently.
• Carry out planned preventive maintenance and improve its effectiveness.
• Investigate recurring issues and contribute to root cause analysis.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across the site.
• Assist with installation and commissioning of new equipment and capital projects.
• Work with production to minimise downtime and maintain records.
