Job summary

Ser- is hiring a Shift Engineer - Electrical Bias for its Ripley site. You will maintain production equipment, perform preventative and reactive maintenance, and diagnose electrical and control systems to minimise downtime.

You will work a rotating three-shift pattern (Mornings, Afternoons & Nights) across legacy and modern robotic machinery, collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team to drive reliability and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Proven industrial maintenance experience.
• Level 3 engineering qualification in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Experience with PPM and reactive maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across the site.
• Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults to minimise downtime.
• Maintain safe, compliant operation of manufacturing machinery and site services.
• Troubleshoot electrical control systems, sensors and automation equipment.
• Identify potential failures and prevent unplanned downtime.
• Support continuous improvement across production and engineering.
