Job summary

Hyatt Place London Heathrow Airport is seeking a Shift Engineer to maintain and operate all plant, machinery and equipment across the hotel, ensuring guest comfort and safe, efficient operation. You will respond to maintenance issues, inspect rooms and public areas, follow health and safety procedures, and support a positive guest experience with proactive service and timely repairs.

This role requires an organized, reliable individual with experience in maintenance operations and a commitment

Shift Engineer

Hyatt Place London Heathrow Airport offers a modern and convenient stay just minutes from Heathrow Airport, with excellent transport connections to central London. The hotel features 341 spacious guestrooms and meeting spaces for business and events, and dining options including The Gallery and Coffee to Cocktails.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and operate all plant, machinery, and equipment to ensure safe, efficient operation and guest comfort.
• Respond promptly to maintenance issues, carrying out repairs, and ensuring rooms and facilities are kept in excellent condition.
• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas, identifying and resolving faults in a timely manner.
• Ensure all health and safety procedures are followed, including isolating unsafe equipment and responding to fire alarms and emergencies.
• Deliver a high standard of guest service by assisting with requests, resolving complaints, and supporting a positive guest experience.

You are an organized and reliable individual with experience in maintenance operations, demonstrating strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and performance.
