Job summary

Hyatt Regency London Olympia is seeking a dedicated Shift Engineer to join the hotel’s engineering team in London. You will deliver tasks and repairs across the property to support a high standard guest experience.

You should have broad technical knowledge across mechanical, electrical and plumbing disciplines, be professional and reliable, and comfortable working independently or with the team to maintain safety and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in hotel engineering is preferred.
• Broad technical knowledge across mechanical, electrical and plumbing.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of the engineering team to deliver tasks and repairs across the property.
• Carry out engineering work in guest rooms, public areas and back‑of‑house spaces, ensuring high standards and supporting a positive guest experience.
• Handle general engineering tasks across multiple disciplines, including electrical, mechanical, air‑conditioning, fire protection, carpentry and plumbing, while ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
• Complete planned preventive engineering work within plant rooms, guest rooms and public areas.
• Conduct regular inspections of the property, with particular attention to safety features and the condition of operational equipment.

About You
