We are currently looking for a Shift Electrician to join our team in Linford, Stanford-le-Hope.
The shift patterns are: Days - 6am - 6pm, Nights - 6pm - 6am

In the role of Shift Electrician you will be responsible for:
- Working as part of a team, responsible for day-to-day maintenance activities including planned preventative and reactive maintenance on production machinery in the manufacture of Aircrete blocks or similar products.
- Meeting statutory and SHE standards as a minimum.
- This is a shift role, working on various plant throughout the site as directed, on a planned or reactive basis.
- Recording all work on the site CMMS system.
- This is a dynamic, mostly self-motivated and self-supervised role, requiring good communication skills.
The ideal candidate will have experience of:
- A manufacturing background (beneficial).
- Completed a recognised apprenticeship in electrical engineering.
- Experience in maintaining/replacing automation control systems, including motors, inverter drives, contactors, etc.
- Successfully completed 17th edition BS wiring regulations.
- PLC programming qualifications (Siemens S5 and S7) - desirable but not essential.
- Basic computer skills.
