Electrical Improver – Slough – 35K

My client has an exciting opportunity for an electrical improver to join their expanding company and develop into a fully-fledged electrical engineer.

The engineer will work on commercial sites such as retail shops, bakeries, and gyms. The company offers nationwide coverage, with engineers across the UK, and some travel and overnight stays will be necessary.

You will gain hands-on experience alongside a senior electrical engineer, learning various aspects of electrical commercial works.

The mobile electrician will be performing & learning:

• Test & Inspection
• Emergency Light Testing
• Fire Alarm Maintenance
• Small Installations
• Breakdown and fault-finding tasks

The ideal candidate would have 1-2 years of experience in the electrical industry and recognized trade qualifications.

Position Requirements:

• Live within Slough or surrounding areas
• 18th Edition wiring regulations & City and Guilds or NVQ Level 2 in electrical installations
• Full clean driving license (preferable)
• Good attitude and willingness to learn

Package:

• Salary: £28,000 - £35,000 depending on experience
• 40-hour working week
• Company pension scheme after 3 months
