Job summary

Biffa Group in Rotherham is seeking an Electrical Shift Maintenance Engineer to maintain and repair electrical systems across the site, improve reliability and reduce downtime on critical assets. You'll join a small team and be flexible to cover day and night shifts on a 4 on/4 off rota.

The role requires experience with conveyors, overhead cranes and ECs, with ONC/BTEC NVQ3 Electrical bias and BS7671 18th Edition.

Qualifications

• Experience with planned and reactive maintenance on conveyors and related equipment.
• Electric bias multi-skilled technician with formal electrical qualifications.
• BS7671 18th Edition wiring regulation knowledge and hands-on maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Diagnosis of running faults and effective repairs within minimum downtime.
• Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance tasks across the site.
• Implementing plant upgrades and maintaining documentation in CMMS.
• Developing preventative maintenance programs to minimise downtime.
• Ensuring SHEQ standards and compliance are maintained.
