Job summary

Mitie Group plc. is seeking a Critical Systems Shift Electrical Engineer to support planned and reactive maintenance within a critical environment at a key client site. The role focuses on ensuring reliability, safety and efficiency of electrical systems on site.

You will deliver PPM and repairs, perform electrical installations and testing to industry standards, and collaborate with building services teams to maintain operations and incident response. Health and safety compliance is a priority.

Qualifications

Experience in critical environment electrical maintenance preferred.
City & Guilds 2391 and 17th/18th Edition are valued.
IPAF/AP/LV qualifications desirable.

Responsibilities

Deliver planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs on site.
Carry out electrical installation work and testing to industry standards.
Support general building services tasks to maintain operational continuity.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and site procedures.
Assist in maintaining critical environment infrastructure and coordinate with other technical teams.
Experience in a data centre or critical environment and knowledge of BMS systems.
