Job summary

Mitie Group plc. is seeking a Critical Systems Shift Electrical Engineer to support planned and reactive maintenance within a critical environment at a key client site. The role focuses on ensuring reliability, safety and efficiency of electrical systems on site.

You will deliver PPM and repairs, perform electrical installations and testing to industry standards, and collaborate with building services teams to maintain operations and incident response. Health and safety compliance is a priority.

Qualifications

• Experience in critical environment electrical maintenance preferred.
• City & Guilds 2391 and 17th/18th Edition are valued.
• IPAF/AP/LV qualifications desirable.

Responsibilities

Role Responsibilities

• Deliver planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs across electrical systems on site.
• Carry out electrical installation work and testing in line with industry standards.
• Support general building services tasks as required to maintain operational continuity.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and site procedures.
• Assist in maintaining the critical environment infrastructure, including coordination with other technical teams when necessary.
  City & Guilds 2391 Testing & Inspection qualification.
• 17th/18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations certification.
• IPAF 3A & 3B, basic mechanical knowledge, and AP/LV qualification (desirable)
• Experience working within a critical environment or data centre.
• Knowledge of BMS systems.
