Job summary

Mitie Group plc. in Wokingham is seeking a Critical Systems Shift Electrical Engineer to support planned and reactive maintenance in a critical environment, ensuring the reliability, safety, and efficiency of electrical systems on site.

The role covers delivering PPM and reactive repairs, installing electrical systems, and coordinating with other teams to maintain operations. Candidates should hold City & Guilds 2391 and 17th/18th Edition, with experience in data centres and knowledge of BMS.

Qualifications

City & Guilds 2391 Testing & Inspection qualification.
17th/18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations certification.
IPAF 3A & 3B, AP/LV qualification (desirable).
Experience in a critical environment or data centre.
Knowledge of BMS systems.

Responsibilities

Deliver planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs across electrical systems on site.
Carry out electrical installation work and testing in line with industry standards.
Support general building services tasks as required to maintain operational continuity.
Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and site procedures.
Assist in maintaining the critical environment infrastructure, including coordination with other technical teams when necessary.
