Job summary

Mitie Group plc. is seeking a Shift Electrical Engineer in Hounslow to maintain plant and equipment, ensure compliance, and deliver high-quality service in a fast-paced environment.

You will work 4 on 4 off shifts (days & nights) from 7am-7pm and 7pm-7am, with rotating duties. Responsibilities include planned and reactive work, safety compliance, and accurate documentation to support service excellence.

Qualifications

• Proactive, safety-focused engineer with workplace safety awareness.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Good IT skills and familiarity with CAFM systems.
• Willingness to work in a rotating shift pattern and be proactive.

Responsibilities

• Maintain plant and equipment associated with the building's mechanical and electrical systems.
• Complete both planned and reactive works efficiently and in line with contract and legal requirements.
• Deliver a high-quality service and uphold strong safety standards.
• Manage workload effectively, prioritising tasks and completing documentation accurately.
• Adhere to all policies, procedures and Health & Safety requirements, including training and appraisals.

• Adhere to all policies, procedures, and Health & Safety requirements, including participation in training and appraisals.

Qualifications

Qualified engineering background - C&G 2392 or an equivalent technical qualification.

• Proactive, self-motivated individual with strong safety awareness.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Good IT skills with understanding of CAFM systems.
• Inquisitive and challenging mindset with the ability to work within a rotating shift pattern.
