Job summary

Sodexo is hiring a Cleaner at our Macclesfield facility. This permanent full-time role involves 37.5 hours/week with a 4 days on/4 days off pattern from 5am to 4pm. The position offers a shift allowance and on-site perks within a clean room environment at a major production site.

You will follow SOPs, wear PPE, and maintain hygiene across break areas and offices, ensuring safety and high standards. Training and progression opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Cleaning experience is desirable though not essential.
• Must maintain high cleanliness standards and follow SOPs.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy on tasks.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed on time and to a high standard following SOPs.
• Wear appropriate PPE on shift as required in a clean room environment.
• Maintain cleanliness in break areas, kitchens, toilets, shower and changing areas.
• Complete and sign off worksheets per company procedure.
• Order consumables and perform monthly stock takes.
• Champion health and safety practices and report hazards.
• Deliver excellent customer service and respond to queries professionally.
• Use cleaning equipment such as buffers.

• £14.26 Per Hour plus £309.89 per month shift allowance

What you'll do:

• Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed on time and to a high standard following SOP's (Standard Operating Procedures)
• You will be required to wear appropriate protective clothing on shift as required by site. This will be provided and includes items such as a hair net (due to this being a clean room environment)
• Maintain cleanliness in break out areas, kitchens, toilets, shower and changing areas in a clean room environment, communal areas and corridors, ensuring a sterile hygiene environment.
• Complete and sign off your worksheets in line with company procedure
• Ordering of consumable products
• Complete monthly stock takes
• Champion health and safety practices, conducting regular safety checks and reporting hazards
• Deliver excellent customer service, responding to queries and concerns professionally
• Use of cleaning equipment, such as buffers, will be required
