Job summary

Sodexo is seeking a Specialist Shift Cleaner for a GMP/GxP environment in Macclesfield. The role involves daily cleaning, deep cleans in labs and manufacturing areas, and strict adherence to cleanliness standards. You’ll follow GMP/GxP regulations and SOPs, maintaining meticulous records and reporting any deviations.

The position offers 36.45 hours per week, 5.00am–4.00pm with a 4 days on, 4 days off pattern. Training, PPE and a strong team culture are provided.

Qualifications

• Cleaning and maintenance in GMP/GxP areas adhering to cleanliness standards (labs and manufacturing).
• Adhere to GMP/GxP regulations, SOPs and COSHH guidelines.
• Maintain accurate records of cleaning activities and deviations.

Responsibilities

• Execute daily cleaning routines and deep cleans in GMP/GxP areas.
• Report issues or equipment faults to supervisor or customer service manager.
• Complete required GMP/GxP training and use PPE as required.
• Act as primary contact for customers in GMP/GxP areas.

What you'll do:

Cleaning and Maintenance: Execute daily cleaning routines and deep cleans in GMP/GxP areas, including laboratories and manufacturing environments, adhering to stringent cleanliness standards.

Compliance Adherence: Ensure all cleaning practices comply with GMP/GxP regulations, including accurate documentation and adherence to SOPs and COSHH guidelines.

Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of cleaning activities, including deviations and corrective actions.

Report any issues or equipment faults to the Supervisor or Customer Service Manager.

Training and Safety: Complete all required training related to GMP/GxP cleaning standards and ensure the use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). Understand and follow client policies for infection control and security.

Customer Interaction: Act as the primary point of contact for customers in GMP/GxPareas, building professional relationships and addressing any concerns promptly.

Ensuring Sterile garments and Pjyama’s are stocked up to ensure availability for plant operators at all times following strict procedures, practices and dress discipline
