Job summary

City St George's, University of London is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join the Estates, Environment & Facilities team across Clerkenwell, Moorgate and Tooting campuses. You will support the safe and reliable operation of heating, ventilation and water systems.

The role is shift-based and requires a recognised mechanical engineering qualification, strong fault-finding skills and a commitment to health and safety.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining mechanical building services in large or complex environments.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of health and safety requirements and permit procedures.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across heating, ventilation, water and mechanical services.
• Perform fault finding, inspections, repairs and routine maintenance.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with health and safety procedures.
