City St George's, University of London is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join the Estates, Environment & Facilities team across Clerkenwell, Moorgate and Tooting campuses.

Working within a shift-based maintenance service, you will ensure the safe, efficient operation of building services and infrastructure, carrying out preventive and reactive maintenance with strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills, and a solid commitment to health and safety.

Formación

• Experience maintaining mechanical building services in large or complex environments.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Solid understanding of health and safety requirements.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Responsabilidades

• Carry out planned preventative and reactive maintenance across campus mechanical systems.
• Perform fault finding, plant inspections, repairs, and routine maintenance.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure health and safety procedures are followed.
• Collaborate with colleagues and contractors to minimize disruption and maintain high service standards.
• Demonstrate required knowledge of safe systems of work and permit procedures.
