Fire Glass, a UK market leader in fire-rated and specialist glass, seeks a proactive SHEQ professional at our Oldbury head office. You will lead audits, investigate incidents, and advise teams on health, safety, quality and environmental standards across sites.
You will engage staff, support compliance programs, and help maintain ISO 9001/14001 and related certifications with a hands-on, collaborative approach.
At Fire Glass, we are UK market leaders for fire-rated and specialist glass. In less than two decades of existence, we’ve gone from two people and one machine in a corner of a shared factory to 200 employees spread across five sites in the UK, one in France and one in Germany. This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the head office teams supporting this dynamic, growing business.

Reporting to the SHEQ Manager, you will be based out of our head office in Oldbury with occasional overnight travel to our other branches. You will have opportunities to work across all areas of the department’s mandate, with training and support where needed. You will conduct internal audits and supervise external audits, complete incident investigations, support customer enquiries, engage with staff across the business to promote standards and culture and provide advice, and much more.
The ideal candidate will have some or all of the following: Prior experience with health & safety, quality and/or environmental management. Prior experience within the glass and glazing industry. Any relevant qualifications (NEBOSH, ISO 9001/14001 auditing, etc). Prior experience with internal and/or external audits. Good computer literacy. (Essential) Strong time management skills and attention to detail.
