Torus Group in North Liverpool is seeking a Scheme Manager to lead a sheltered housing service for residents aged 55 and over. You will manage two schemes, build strong relationships with residents, and ensure wellbeing and independence while maintaining safety and compliance.

Formación

• Experience working within sheltered housing, housing management, or a similar customer-focused environment.
• Experience supporting older people and vulnerable individuals to maintain their independence, wellbeing and quality of life.
• Knowledge and understanding of safeguarding practices, risk assessment and supporting vulnerable adults.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver a high-quality housing management service within sheltered housing.
• Support residents aged 55+ to maintain independence, wellbeing and quality of life.
• Carry out wellbeing checks, risk and needs assessments, resident reviews and support planning.
• Support residents to access relevant services, including health, social care, welfare support, aids, adaptations and assistive technology.
• Respond to resident enquiries and provide practical advice, guidance and support on housing-related matters.
• Support residents to sustain their tenancies, managing low-level tenancy issues and working with specialist teams where required.
• Support the lettings process, including assessments, property viewings and welcoming new residents into the scheme.
• Facilitate resident engagement sessions, activities and events that promote wellbeing, independence and social inclusion.
• Using digital tools and communication platforms to engage with residents and share information.
• Ensuring schemes remain safe, secure and compliant through routine inspections, health and safety checks, fire safety testing and contractor liaison.
• Working closely with colleagues, contractors and partner agencies to achieve positive outcomes for residents.
• Identifying and responding appropriately to safeguarding concerns, incidents and emergency situations.
