Job summary
MARCH in Sheffield is seeking a Control Systems Engineer to join our growing engineering team at our brand-new regional hub. You will lead the design, development and commissioning of advanced control and automation systems across various industries.
This role requires a proactive engineer with 2+ years in control and automation, a related degree, and excellent communication. You will deliver technical tasks, produce specifications, and collaborate with customers and teams to ensure high-quality
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in control and automation.
- Degree in Control, Automation, Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- Member of a relevant engineering body preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead design, development and commissioning of control systems.
- Deliver high-quality technical tasks within time and budget.
- Prepare specifications, design documents and reports.
- Configure software across platforms and industries.
- Test and commission controls safely in end-user environments.
- Communicate with customers through meetings and documentation.
- Ensure IMS compliance in all activities.
- Collaborate within a team or work independently.
- Maintain high standards throughout the engineering process.
