Job Opportunity: Sheet Metal Worker

Orion is currently working with a fast-paced manufacturing company based in Derby. We are looking for an experienced Sheet Metal Worker to join their friendly team and work hands-on in an FMCG environment.

Working Hours:

• Monday - Thursday: 6am – 2pm
• Friday: 6am – 1pm

or

• Monday – Thursday: 2pm – 10pm
• Friday: 9am – 4pm

Responsibilities:

• Working with materials such as Titanium, stainless steel, Jethete, Nominics, etc.
• Working with fine gauges from 0.7mm to 1.6mm
• Reading and working from engineering drawings
• Riveting and sealing
• Assembling fabricated and machined parts

Experience:

• Proficient with materials like Titanium, stainless steel, Jethete, Nominics, etc.
• Using hand tools to cut, bend, and straighten sheet metal
• Inspecting, assembling, and smoothing seams and joints of welded surfaces
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Following work lists to achieve high productivity

Qualifications:

• City and Guilds
• Level 3 qualification in welding and fabrication
