Job description

Sheet Metal Worker

Location: Peterborough

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm

We are looking for an experienced Fabricator to join our client in Peterborough.

What You Get:

• Competitive pay based on experience
• Overtime pay: 1.4x for hours over 40 per week, 1.7x on Bank Holidays
• Holidays: 20 days + Bank Holidays, with additional days based on length of service

What You'll Do:

• Weld using MIG and TIG methods
• Read and work from engineering drawings
• Operate workshop machines like CNC Press Brake and Sheet Rolls
• Work on a variety of jobs; no two days are the same
• Maintain safety and quality standards with support from your line manager

What We're Looking For:

• Proven fabrication and welding experience
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Comfortable using various tools and machines
• Good understanding of engineering drawings
• Ideally, completed a recognised engineering apprenticeship
